Our story
Built for teams tired of demo-driven AI promises
CogniVector was founded in Vancouver by practitioners who spent years shipping production ML systems — and watched RAG become the default answer to every knowledge-management problem, often without embedding benchmarks or evaluation harnesses.
We created an independent advisory studio focused exclusively on vector intelligence: embedding model selection, index architecture, RAG pipeline design and semantic search migration. We do not resell software licences or operate managed chatbot platforms.
Our Hastings Street studio hosts architecture reviews, embedding strategy workshops and vendor evaluation sessions for financial services firms, SaaS companies and public-sector teams navigating PIPEDA-aligned retrieval deployments.

We accept no referral fees from vector database or embedding API vendors. Selection follows your criteria and benchmark results.

Practitioner-led advisory
Our lead advisors combine enterprise search engineering, applied NLP and ML platform operations experience. They have designed retrieval systems processing millions of documents and guided RAG deployments through security review and production launch.
